My Mrs dropped her Galaxy S8 and broke both ****ing sides of her phone

£275 to fix, out of principal I'm not paying that for the fact that they roll out utter ****e for Apple money when they're absolutely nowhere near the build quality.

Off to buy an iPhone 8 tomorrow.

 

My missus did the same thing but only broke the back, I gave her some tape.

But how the **** do they keep breaking bastard phones

They keep buying the cases and all kinds of **** to stick on the case so it can stick to the vents etc only never to be using said cases when the ****er is dropped

Apologies to Mrs tel if she isn't that way but fff I'm sick of paying for new phones or repairs

 

Yeah my Mrs is a Muppet for dropping phones mate but the Samsung phone was ranked worst ever for breaking when dropped. Who designs cheap **** like that in 2017?

I drop mine a lot but I have tempered glass on my phone to protect it. Can't do that with the S8 though cos the screen is ****ing curved for absolutely no reason!

 

I use an iPhone with an Otterbox Symmetry case. There are no carpets here, just tiled floors. I’ve dropped the phone countless times, in the gym,at home, not a mark on it.

 

Yeah same, I bought one of those on your advice. I've got slate and granite flagstones in my house, dropped my phone numerous times onto that and the case has saved it every time

 

Finished last night shift this morning took my nipper out for the day.

Feel ****ing knackered so probably gonna sleep for about 12 hours tonight.

The problem with modern phones is that they all break when they get a little bump so we all cover them with tempered glass and a case which takes away from the very nice phone you started with.

 

I’m more bothered with protecting my phone, not flashing off its logo so everybody knows it’s an iPhone.

 

I get that but it looks nice and you do pay for that but cannot really use it before it's all covered up.

 

Day off today so chilling out and catching up on the footy.

Ordered a new radiator for the car. Then a quick hoover inside it.

Now sat outside having brekkie, which has consisted off a sausage mc muffin, a whole family sized trifle and a cup off coffee. Who says my diet is ****, ha.

just do what i do. Get a nice looking cheap phone (xiaomi) for 150 quid. If you break it no harm done.

Only thing is i'm pretty sure all my personal data gets sent back to china....

 

I have a Huawei phone so I'm with you on this one. I would never pay over £20 on a phone contract and would want the phone free.
