I used to own somewhere near 200 websites, all affiliate marketing ones, I’m no expert by any means but they all had software in place that could tell me the IP number, if they were using a desktop or mobile even which operating system and even what website they had been on before mine in some cases <ok>

There wasn't (to my knowledge) a timeframe put on Leeds60's exclusion.

You were kind enough to put a case forward, and we agreed with you that it had been long enough.

Regarding Glory's exclusion, there has been a lot of pressure put on the moderators to give a time frame - hense we have come up with one.

I hold absolutely no malice towards Glory, and I consider him a friend, but he deserved the ban! He told me he deserved the ban. He also told me that some poster(s) are trying to play us off against each other.

The mods are unpaid volunteers that give up their spare time for the good of the board. Apart from Glory-Gate when was the last time the mods have interferred with the board? We don't - we try and let the board run itself, which 90 percent of the time it does.

As I have said before, its you, the posters that make the board the success it is today - every single one of you contribute to its success, but all this fighting is not doing the board any good.

There have been many accusations pointed both individually and collectively at the mods in the last week or so that if truth be known have been completely untrue.

The difficult decision that have been made in the last week were not taken lightly, there is no vandetta against Glory.

Ell, I wasn't criticising our mods. I was simply answering a question re. Leeds60's ban.

And I'm not complaining about Glory's ban, as I don't have any information on it whatsoever, so cannot judge.

I am however criticising the supermods for the way they handle bans. I asked for clarity & structure, & what did I get? BRB gave us:

"No to be fair, I'm a lazy fooker and actually can't be asked to make a decision. I see life like this...if i'm in a good mood, i do nice things, if i'm in a bad mood i'm a tit. So who knows what mood i'm in from one day to the next. But everyone else wants a closure, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, LIFE! I've never heard of anything so ridiculous, so i left Glory with the final say...i accept my ban, i am not looking for it to be lifted...and no timescale was put on that either, it's not closure but it's not perm either...or is it...who knows, maybe it's a case for the X Files <whistle>".

So there we have it. Perhaps I'm missing BRB's hidden meaning, but I see no clarity, & moving forward, no structure. I thought the use of 'Kangaroo Court' by some was a bit strong earlier. Now I'm convinced that it's fairly accurate.

ok, 10 year ban, hope that satisfies your thirst for clarity, anyway EFL on Quest, FREESAT HD 167...so excuse me if i don't reply for an hour or two <whistle>

To be fair one of the first post I sent was saying all 3 mods were in agreement for the banning

Mate, all Leeds moderators voted for the ban and went to the super mods.
