Its not the end of the world

yes we didnt get that striker we were all craving but look on the brightside. we made some cracking siginings this window and to me improved the team and replaced the ones who went.

Personally i dont see that as being bad. look at the records of Ba & Carroll

Ba: Apps 149, Goals 84
Carroll: Apps 101, Goals 34

Ba more experience and a better record. think some people have been harsh on him but a few more games and he'll be banging them in and then people will say what a great signing etc..

lighten up. if someone said this is who you'll sell and & buy and we'll give you 7 points out the first 9 im sure 85% whould have took that...

 

..Problem most people see though is Ba has a background of injury, who do we have then .. this striker purchase would have provided much needed depth ..

Agree overall it's been a good transfer window, but dissapointing that no established striker was signed .. even Pardew said we needed one. Obertan can of course play up front ... ?

 

Done a similar post,we were still fairly active and IMO have enhanced the squad. We are a bit short at the back and Nelson Rivas would be a good signing to give us more options and he has play with Santon before. All in all we didn't get the striker and all got our hopes up but we all know how Ashley works by now, its a case of just wait and see at this football club these days!!!
