Under the 'Fit and Proper Persons Act', the Football Association Police come and whisk Ehab away in a black maria for 5 years hard training in customer relations. In the meantime, Ian Ashbee is appointed manager (or assistant) and due to the rest of the season being played out in front of 25,000 (mostly) returning fans, the club stays up and stays alive. Noticing the passion and support of the fans of Hull City, a new owner steps in, undoes all the vindictive ****iness the previous regime implemented and we all move on together, through thick and thin as mates, compatriots and fanatics of all things Hull City Afc Pipe dreams, eh....
We should try and manage a home game with no home fans in attendance. We’re not that far off achieving that anyway!
Th most insipid performance seen at the kcom. FACT. Something is going on behind the scenes. FACT The players weren't up for it. The manager wasn't up for it. God awful.
While I was at the bar at Gemels after the game, someone suggested you cant blame the Owners for that? Discuss!!!
Not seen mentioned. The disgraceful challenge on Kingsley. I've only seen it in real time but **** me that was a disgrace. Thedirty **** went right at him. The crowd didn't even move. Pathetic. The **** should have gone. He then did it twice more, Evans should have been off, fouled at will. Mind, our midfield is as near to a pacifist as you can get. I think Nige has had an arguement with Ehab and his negativity has got to the players. I have never seen him so quiet on the touch line.
Blackburn were ****. They had a game plan and stuck to it. Hustle the ball. That was it. We were as slow as I've seen moving the ball. They took every throw in easily. We couldn't take a quick throw to save our lives. We still couldn't beat the first man at every corner and free kick.
Only one I ever recall making a point of watching was the Giants* - absolute ****ing shambles but great because of it. * Think they were called that - could be wrong
We also struggled to make any meaningful passes. Henriksen as captain was one of the WORST offenders. Having the armband almost exonerates him from being dropped. He warrants dropping after that lacklustre and sloppy performance.
Agreed. Abysmal. I keep saying it but 4-2-3-1 is a ****ing **** system unless you have great players. It just does not work for us. Campbell looked relieved to come off. Didn't have a chance. Themidfeld two are so deep it's ridiculous.
Yet Adkins persists with the same formation just swapping personnel. He could have switched to 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 with Dicko and Campbell up front. Adkins is starting to piss me off. Regardless of players available, you can change the formation and try to cause your opponent new problems. Nothing, stick with the same. Clueless and out of his depth.
