Just seen the Swansea sub bench and been reminded of Leroy Fer, forgot all about him. A hattrick for him being relegated with 3 different teams.
It's going really well at St Andrew's for Swansea. Almost half time and the stats read - Shots Brum 13 on target 5, Swansea 0. Swansea will probably nick it 1-0 in the 85th minute!! Edit - From an interview with the man himself - 'He has played just 63 minutes in the Premier League, making his debut at Manchester United last Friday, yet it already feels as if Leicester have found a new hero - an attacking midfielder who has piqued the interest of England manager Gareth Southgate.' https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...der-has-already-caught/?WT.mc_id=tmg_share_tw
Yeah, but how many of Swansea's 0 shots were on target! Seriously, it won't be long before Madders gets his England call-up!
Sorry - maths/arithmetic is not my strong point!!!! Edit - Leroy Fer and Daniel James are on for Swansea - Barrie McKay and Tom Carroll making way. Swansea have now had 2 shots - NEITHER on target!!!!
¾ of the game gone and Swansea haven't had a shot on target. They've scraped a win in their previous games. Edit - they've now had 3 attempts at goal. Finished 0-0¬¬
NOT according to the report of the game on the BBC website. IMO, this is going to be a VERY interesting season in the Championship!!!
It's OK, I was agreeing with you, so our draw there was a fair result. So both Welsh teams leave with only a point each.
Just making Southgate notices him!!!! Edit - Wildschut scores again!!!! Derby losing to Millwall 2-0. #lampardoutbyxmas Vardy - straight red
Just seen this - Man of the match - James Maddison (Leicester) James Maddison appears a fantastic summer addition for Leicester. The former Norwich player was at the heart of all of their good play and a cool performance was capped off with a well-taken goal on his home debut. #nothingtoadd Yes, I know it was only Wolves, but he was Leicester's MotM last week as well. #bargainbuy
Saw the Chelsea game live, Seeing it again on MOTD, reminding me. How the hell did it go from 2-0 to 2-2. That was insane, plus Arsenal missed 3 easy chances. Yet Chelsea deserved to be about 4 or 5-0 ahead. Arsenal pressed on and should have been ahead at HT! Then Chelsea switched it again, and deserved the win second half. It was such a strange game. But so enjoyable.
I think we got a good price for him and I expect him to move again in a couple of years. I also think that Leicester was the perfect fit for him to showcase his talent
No point at all him doing a Sean Wright-Phillips and bench-warming for a top 4 club for the rest of his career
