    I feel sympathy for you guys. Your owner clearly doesn't care about the club, and if that joey barton tweet is correct, he only cares about his wealth. Why hasn't he reinvested the money from the steven seagal sale to liverpool?

    NUFC Transfer Spending 2011 (taken from Chappaz thread):

    Ben Arfa permanent deal = £5mil?
    Yohan Cabaye - £4.5mill
    Gabriel Obertan - £3mill
    Davide Santon - £5.6mill

    Exludes fees paid when signing Marveaux, Ba etc. on frees. Just over 18m spent. Not great, granted, but some people were expecting the whole whack to be pocketed.

    Look at those signings too, Santon, Ben Arfa, Cabaye and Marveaux particularly are great signings that add to our team. People are gutted because we got screwed out of the top class striker we were told we would get, rightly so - we're all pissed off about this. But some people are going way overboard here "losing faith, we're getting relegated, championship sides are better". Christ alive, you'd think we'd just signed half the Middlesboro team or something the way some people are going on.
    Our owner is an idiot, an utter idiot. But people need to take a step back for a sec before diving on the doom train and realise that we aren't as ****ed as they think.

    Remember there's 4.5 mil from Nolan, 6 mil from Enrique, 1.5 mil from Routledge as well. An extra 12 mil on top of the 35 :)

    Surely if they were taking it down they would take it down from left to right or vice versa rather than the in stages as it appears on nufc.com

    I honestly do worry about this.

    Anyway this would be disgraceful should he be taking it down, hopefully it's just a refurbishment.

    Not even the people that run our club are stupid enough to replace that sign with sports direct. You can tell from the picture that the lettering is old. I think it will just be replaced.
