The trick is once you've made the 'ok' symbol - you need to bring your three extended fingers down 90 degrees so you make a letter 'P' (left hand) or backwards 'P' (right hand). Then flip your hand in towards you.

 

That's made it so much clearer

 

I take that back....it works.
Now will someone tell me how being able to do this benefits me.
