Some very positive news for the club (in my opinion). Tony Fernandes (and Ruben Gnanalingam) have both stepped down from their positions as co-chairman to pave the way for Amit Bhatia to take over the reigns as our new chairman. Thank you Tony for all you have done (and tried to do for our club) over the last few years, your sheer enthusiasm and presence will surely be missed by many. Rupert steps aside to continue in other roles. A very warm welcome to Amit - great to have you back again in the role of chairman this time! As you yourself said, "onwards and upwards" - come on you RRRrrs!
Welcome Amit I agree but I cannot agree with thanking TF he stood down at last and this has to be seen as a overall failure imo He brought us Redknapp, Hughes, Hasselbaink and other experiments all of which was to improve the football One very lucky play off game No cup runs A ****e of crap via Twitter No progression off the pitch at all At least he picked up the bill He claims to have stepped down with the club in a better position Worst highlight using club to talk about plane crash tragery imo He has failed every time Nice bloke dreadful businessman Bottom of the championship in a bit of a crisis in a pink away kit with an embargo Is that QPR? He played football chairman ruined the image and culture of the club even further Employed SM Thank you TF what did you learn?
Sometimes your diatribes leave me scratching my head (my problem of comprehension, not your's) but it is hard to disagree with much of that sadly. You might have added Caterham to the list too.
