Should it be eventually announced that the deal has fallen through I imagine you will not get a peep out of both parties as to why. If we are not hearing porkies, all you get is secrecy.
I think we have all worked out that it has fallen through. We were told as much 6 weeks ago. Just wonder why the Aussies haven’t at least apologised, or made a statement calling it quits. They have treated our long term fans like mugs.
I don't see any concrete evidence that the take-over has fallen through. All we have is a lot of talk on forums. Is Lee Bowyer our permanent manager now? Has Roland appointed a new CEO - or indeed any new senior management figures? Not as far as I know. Let's see where we are a few weeks after the loan window closes.
No jobs for some of the current CAFC staff from what I have been reading, if September comes and goes and there is no take-over. The cost cutting we have seen so far is apparently only a taste of what is to come.
