So he doesn't have a picture of himself hung up on his wall? I mean that picture tells a different story?
Looks more like a plug socket than a fireplace. And the location is the least conspicuous place to put it without disrespecting the people who gifted it to him.
He's lost far too much weight for his natural frame. He has a biggish head which needs a biggish body to look 'normal'.
So vanity has it hanging up. What’s the picture from Bren, my charity work.....but I don’t like to talk about it. But look how I have it under a light that makes my teeth look white.
FFS no one serious about drawing attention to a painting would hang it right between two doors with windows in them. #negativespace
Lots of people like to have portraits of themselves (I'm not one of them, before you ask). There may be a touch of vanity to it, but it's not rare. Anyway, bit of an empty criticism in a world riddled with selfies.
Between to door, that people will go through. Or would Lawrence Llewelyn prefer them more prominent positiong
I think the picture is a bit small tbh, I've got a full wall print of me on our living room wall #livinglegend
Gave us one of the more exciting league years of a long while .... oh but no it was x oh but no it was y. He was part of it. He can do what he likes elsewhere, he bit the bullet for ultimate failure with us but hey? Others did too. The fact that some on here talk about him in a more derogatory fashion than the likes of Hodgeson? Wind yer necks in.
Yeah, it was the fault of the club that he was given a job that he was way out of his depth in, very flamboyant character but with little to back it up. He has found his niche north of the border and he's done well up there, good luck to him.
We have discussions on here regularly about whether it's play attacking football or ugly trash and win trophies.... we obviously want both and he couldn't deliver it..... but following the logic many of us state..... id rather see Rodgers perpetually get PL jobs with teams than fat Sam or Davey Boy etc.... same result maybe but that teams fans can at least watch the stuff
Yeah, his philosophy in footballing terms leaves the dinosaurs in the shade, shame that it's Rodgers who is extinct rather than the dinosaurs as far as the Premier League is concerned.
I would like to see him come in at Xmas at say West Ham with them flirting with relegation and attempt to save them. He was in a comfort bubble at Swansea, a system and a setup that was known to him. Would like to see his skills of playing nice football while trying to save a team.
the fact is a manager that went unbeaten for the entire year in scotland, who won two trebles in a row... is being entirely judged by all and sundry (not just us) by failure in CL qualifiers. It says it all about scottish football. he can win every comp there by next may and and be judged a failure due to what happened august in qualifiers.
See your point obviously, but your scenario is flawed, of course no club in danger of relegation would bring in a manager with a forward thinking tika-taka philosophy. In his short spell(compared to the dinosaurs)in the prem hes never been responsible for a relegation threatened club has he?
He hasn’t, he came into a Swansea side that was settled, he then came up and worked in that comforting system. He has no experience fire fighting, would you think his skills would be suitable(ignoring those of the relegation fighters)
