    was just gonna post this

from HCFC's facebook - It's the news you've all been waiting for... Martyn Waghorn has joined the Tigers on loan from fellow Championship outfit Leicester City until January. Meanwhile, Jay Simpson has left the club in a similar deal to join Millwall.

People continue to slate The Mirror yet they are right time and again days in advance of our deals happening. I'm in absolutely no doubt they have someone well ITK feeding them info - fair play to them.

I agree, most of the nonsense they post is wrong, think i read somewhere they had a 9% success ratio on the rumours they posted but they certainly have someone who knows about City. They actually predicted Koren to sign for us last summer aswell as the one's they predicted this year.

The waghorn signing which I think we all knew was going to happen has finally been completed! I must admit that I was not the biggest fan of this transfer but I've got a feeling I'm gonna be eating my words and he's gonna turn out to be a great signing and score 10+ goals and set up a lot for fryatt! So let's hope I do eat my words eh!;) Up The Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't surprise me. Depends what price Leicester hold out for on Waghorn though, if it's anywhere near their £2m valuation this Summer we won't be buying him

Not really a wasted transfer day. I think Waghorn is on a par with Fryatt, if not slightly better. It's just a shame we couldn't work out a permanent deal for him. Now, if he performs as well as I hope he does he will cost more money to purchase, or attract the attention of another club in a better financial position. Still a positive move though.

No, I think the deal will have been done quickly with the promise of a permanent if all parties are happy in Jan.

Fair point. I'm really unsure what we'll get for him should Millwall want him in January

Don't know who people were expecting us to get really. City fans are the most unrealistic in the world I reckon.

Will the chant return and more importantly, does he have enough to merit the reprise?
