Ive just bought me and my lads tickets for Sat. Ideally i wanted tickets as high as possible in the East stand and central so they can get the best view possible for their first ever game. The price i was given was 25 pound each. Children's prices are void here if you want to sit up high??? Sitting up a height is important so i now have to sit in one of the corners opposite the 18 yard line to qualify for a cheaper ticket. Is this a pish take or what?? Why cant kids sit high up and central?
It's on blinking sunday, man It won't be full, Tees, so, as somebody mentioned earlier (on a similar (almost exactly the same) recent thread ) you should be able to (hopefully) move to more acceptable seats anyway
Oh yeah ... Thats a good point about moving seats. It still seems very harsh to make kids pay full price though.
The 3 central blocks in both East and West stand are classed as Premium with no concessions unfortunately. If you want to treat the lads try to move into the last couple of rows in L17 ( west stand ) - they are padded from when we were in Premier League but go on general sale if not sold for hospitality seats. I tried to move my season tickets there but they wouldn’t let me. From where you are in East stand you’ll be able to spot if there’s empties- and there were loads in L18 / 19 for the Charlton game if you want to try and get close to dugout.
Were in Tier 2 U8, row 32. Is it a decent view do you know? Whats the booking fee all about aswell. Its £1.25 each.?
I’ve got tickets for SE Corner Upper Tier and was pleasantly surprised that my lads ticket was only £12:50 (+£1.25) due to him not being 22 yet!!! Bonus !!!
We’re in row 21 and it’s a good view, close enough to be able to see players and high enough to see pattern of game so would expect 32 will be pretty good as well. To be fair, not sure there’s many bad ones in East stand. Hope you and the kids have a great day fella.
Ticket prices have always been a mystery at the SOL but at least you have them. Take Gordon's advice next time and just move to the seats you want too, like I did when we went down in 04.. Have a great day son, hope the boys love the experience, you will be in my thoughts..
Thankyou dad. I hope they feel the same as i did walking up the steps and then suddenly seeing the big green pitch. It will be a great memory for them and a massive milestone for the 3 of us. Ive always dreamt of taking my own son to a game but 2 is a dream. Theyre not massively into footy at the mo so hopefully this will be the turning point
They've miss informed you. Only the central bits have no concessions, the blocks to the far right and left of that stand does have concessions regardless of what you've been told. Buy online and pick your own seats to make sure.
Ill have to in future mate but its too late now. Just hope the days better than tve service. Are you going?
I just hope they enjoy it as much as you did way back in 87.. There's always something special about a Sunderland fan, we forgive and forget and move to a better place.. Have a great day you all and ha'way those bonny lads of yours..
