Jeremy Corbyn admits being present at wreath-laying for Munich terrorists but says 'I don't think I was actually involved in it'

 

Jeremy Corbyn has admitted attending a ceremony for the terrorists behind the Munich massacre, but denied laying a wreath himself.

The Labour leader said he was “present” at a memorial event commemorating those responsible for the 1972 attack, despite his office previously insisting he was only at the event in question honouring Palestinians killed in an Israeli air strike.

Mr Corbyn was forced to explain himself after pictures showed him holding a wreath next to a memorial plaque for the perpetrators of the Munich attack.

The people who carried out the attack are buried in Libya, but the masterminds, the leaders of the PLO who planned the attack are in Tunisia on the very spot Corbyn is pictured laying a wreath.

Imagine going to the familes of the victims and saying "Corbyn laid a wreath for the people who castrated and killed your son/husband" when they aren't buried in the same country just to slander a man of peace.

Don't know when the TV interview took place however Mr Corbyn finally seems to be showing some cojones by directly refusing to apologise. It would seem Benny Yahoo's intervention has done the trick; bright chap that fellow from The New Statesman.
