Downside of the Bielsa effect - have you seen the prices they're charging for hotel rooms on matchdays? Shako & I were talking about it last week, but it's got worse since then - Clayton for 22nd September is now £134, Novotel £169, Jurys £162.

Thanks mate, think I'll pay the premium and stay in the centre of town though. Obviously the beggars can afford to put the prices up, so the demand must be there.They sometimes drop closer to the time, so I'll keep an eye on it.

I use AirBNB a lot for my Tartan Army trips. Only 1 bad experience. Got my money back, plus a €200 credit as an apology (although it wasn't their faut - it was the owner who was a cnut).

Jock, that is totally astonishing, though i think it's more the sort of place I'd look for if I had the family in tow. I think I'd be too scared of wreaking it after being out on the blarge with the 606ers, looks far too nice if you see what I mean.
