He lives in a country with a great free health care system and uses google. Only I have an excuse for googleMD treating me.
Long read and pretty interesting. Disgusting really but goes to show that even in liberal countries there can be corruption and lack of common sense https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-sh/norways_hidden_scandal
It's a tricky one, and at times you can sympathise with the dilemma of the authorities in making these decisions (disregarding the obvious scandal of the *****phile officer). Well-meaning authorities need to be absolutely convinced that there is a serious danger of abuse or neglect, because taking children away from their families can have an equally traumatic effect on them. There was a scandal in this country a while back involving over-zealous social services unnecessarily removing children from their homes.
If there is anything in the rumour - Idris Elba as next James Bond - good choice? I like him as an actor but not sure on this one.
I think he could pull it off. His movie roles so far have not been great but I still think he's a great actor.
I think he's a good actor. I wondered if the producers and decision makers in going off script with this one, are going for a completely new character. Obviously there's a different ethnicity but will they also be going diamond geezer route rather than posh.
You know, I'm not sure if autocorrect makes more or less work for me. I probably end up editing a third of my posts because I notice a mistake after I hit post. (Example on this thread hit keeps getting autocorrected to got)... On a post 5 mins ago it kept changing were to we're. Tyre always becomes tire and cheque changes to check. It's worse after I reset my predictive typing (I do every few months because it storing what I type creeps me out).
See ive got a new phone so it’s not got used to my typing yet so when ever I’m typing a footballers name it always tries to autocorrect at the moment. Milner always wanted to change to number for a while
