Very happy with that. Potential banana skin nicely navigated. Miller motm. Thought he was outstanding again. A couple looked a bit rusty, promising that not everyone had to be at their best to run out comfortable winners
Almost routine win. I'm still waiting to see how the defence stands up to a decent attack. Alisson made a couple of dodgy clearances. Trent had a bit of a 'mare first half then went quiet - I hope it doesn't undermine his confidence. Keita looking the part already.
Thought Keita looked good today, can't really judge the keeper as he had nothing to do, but did distribute well. Comfortable win with no injuries picked up, that we know of, so a good start to the campaign. We have the advantage of a couple of extra days rest before the next game on Monday week as well. A very good day, only cloud on the day is the Mrs deciding we need to buy a load of metal railings to section off a part of the garden to stop the dog getting on it, and wanting it all installed today. Managed 2 hours before the game now going back out to lay some sleepers to extend said area so the railings will fit.
