The bloke is is all about himself and nobody but himself. If he ever became PM then I will truly be ashamed of this country!

What a load of rubbish. It's an original Guardian story written by a known remoaner. To think I get accused of showing paper stories? If that is all you have to cling onto you really are sounding desperate fella.

The funny thing is DT is when anyone asks me what I voted... "I'm a remainer" we tell people what they want to hear, however like many many others that changes at the ballot box. History should tell you that.
    Lets try it again.
Q: Ellers what would you vote if there was a second referendum?
    E: I would vote remain. :emoticon-0105-wink:
That's how it works, especially with us silent Tories.

If I remember correctly, all the polls had a comfortable Remain victory before the referendum.

That is correct Goldie. As I said whenever asked I am a remainer.
All they are trying to do is break the will of the people by flooding all these negative news story's. They will not break our resolve especially after being called 'thick racists', 'uneducated', gammon blah blah blah. Let them hang on to the story's because not one of my leave friends has changed their minds. In fact that want out even more.

I’m sure you are right, and it’s one of the reasons all polls should be distrusted unless they are showing massive leads for one side. The psychology of lying when asked a direct and simple question like who/what will you vote for might be quite interesting to some people (not me, really). Shame? Embarrassment? Guilt? Desire for a quiet life? To deliberately mislead? Surely a ‘none of your business’ /‘I don’t wish to take part in your survey’ response is more satisfying for your conscience than telling a porker? Or perhaps, given the example of professional politicians, we don’t think ethics which we would apply to most other areas of our lives are relevant to politics.

Ah well, who cares, it’s only the official vote which counts.

Totally agree but as I said when people get accused of being 'thick racists' and 'not knowing what they were voting for', and other stuff just as derogatory then you just keep quiet and do your talking in a polling booth. I don't see any problem with that. You don't need to go around shouting out your political views. This is the only place I discuss politics. In life, I never talk politics. And for what it's worth I always knew Leave would win as I did Trump would win, because I knew there were many like me that just kept quiet. I am also confident if there was another vote with just leave/stay on the paper, leave would win again. Even as some have said, all the old people dying.
