Illegally? They own the land, they bought it from the council I used to have gypsies live in wasteland behind my house for years & never had any trouble with them. Many of them went to my school and still live & work around here.

I was listening to RTE Radio 1 earlier (Pat Kenny's show) and they were saying that the majority were in fact living there legally as they had bought the land but there is an area where people are settled illegally. I don't know all the details of the case but I don't know how they can evict people who are living there legally. They should evict the illegal dwellers and leave the others in peace.
