Fantastic post that sums up how I feel. I am really not very confident about this season and think that poor decision making in terms of transfers and contracts has cost us recently. From what I have been told it is the lack of concrete evidence that is holding this back. A person of interest is known to have burnt some clothing not long after the poor girl had disappeared. Hopefully the police will get the break they need.

Pre-season nightmare last night. Involved an own goal, a badly produced panto and ceefax. So 3-1 to Saints, if someone going could shout "he's behind you" at a relevant moment that would be good.
Apart from Lennon, Burnley haven`t got any pace either, so for this game it isn`t so important. I like the idea of playing 3 at the back with one of the them being able to move into midfield depending how the game is going - so that`s Hoedt or Stephens.
I would love us to be like flowing silk all game, but I am expecting something less attractive. Some good moments, some panic, lucky escapes and, hopefully, unexpected goals....with an only partially deserved win to set us up nicely for the season. 3-1 or 2-0 Saints.
I made the decision on Friday that it wouldn’t rain so travelled to my parents without one. But I’m deep in the stand so it shouldn’t be an issue. My only decision needs to be where to park and where to have a pint.
