Said it last week and I’ll say it again, those players had abuse thrown at them from October to April, they were slagged off on here and everywhere. Orta chose them so he was slagged, Radz chose Orta so he was slagged. One manager who knows what hes doing and how to see a player through a different lens, can make a massive difference. Having spent the summer on HMS Clappy feel I can be allowed to bring some doubt and natural Leeds fan pessimism to the party... 2 great performances but I hope that we're still looking for some action in the transfer market and don't start thinking we're there yet. Think we could do with another CB as love Beradi and hope he's there as a reminder as what it is to be Leeds but think at some point this year we'll need better. Equally think BPF on another day could have cost us so hope that Blackman is challenging him. Also don't think we'll know for a little while if we've played in Stoke and Derby genuine top 6 teams and we've just made them look **** or if they're not actually as strong as reputation suggests. Guess Swansea and Norwich will give us some more idea. Still think playing this way we're going to let in goals and there will be days when that catches us out but it's been a while since I've been genuinely looking forward to watching what a Leeds side will do next in terms of football style! That and the absence of our friends from South London/Germany means it'll make for a good week!
Ah apologies was catching up on the forum and saw your post and replied before I saw the other replies - didn't mean to pile on and no insult intended from me - just was replying as to be honest thought more people on here shared your opinion (certainly been a popular one in the past) but genuinely think he's been one of the most improved players so far under Bielsa and feel like he's been one of his key projects from the start.
