Stop trying to drag brb into this, it’s nothing to do with him, and he clearly stated he doesn’t want his mental health discussed on here so respect that request you bell end. The rest of that post just shows that mental health is yet another subject that you’re woefully ignorant of.
What if that person is totally out of control ? Not just through Drink / Drugs , but just lost it Mentally ? To answer your question . No I would not , but if someone needs help , we should have the resources to make the appropriate staff available to that individual . Bottom line though . Safety of the NHS person , over the immediate need for the patient ? Given the care and attention I have personally received from the NHS , I would back them every time . They have a **** job a lot of the time and you NEVER hear good things about the NHS , because that does not make good news stories !!! Hell of a question though !
Paramedics should be armed then ? To cut down on wages just give them tazers and perhaps a few could get fire arms training for the real hard cases .
What ? I'm talking about if a person has issues , we should provide , or make available if needed , people with the skills to talk to these people about there issues . Going in armed is the exact opposite of what I'm talking about .
What if that person had previous for attacking paramedics so needed specialist armed police intervention, or the medics wouldn't go to the call out ?
No need, you are an idiot, its not rocket science is it to understand, the staff are far more important thane one person who has a mental issue who is attacking them with a weapon of some description .
Then the Police should be available to attend with the Paramedics to ensure the safety of those involved .
