From Toby on Merseyside, via text: "Just spotted Daniel Sturridge pull up at Melwood training ground, with his agent."
Sturridge would be a right coup. The chavs are already going mad about the prospect of them letting him go for less than 20mil.
Still rumours of Sturridge though, who I'd prefer. Capello once said he see's Sturridge and Carroll as the future of Englands strike force.
Daniel Sturridge now down to 8/11 but if Bellamy signs I can't see us going for Sturridge, execpt in a player plus cash for Raul.
"From Toby on Merseyside, via text: "Just spotted Daniel Sturridge pull up at Melwood training ground, with his agent." Is Toby a more reliable sounding name than Pete, that is the question...
I suspect Sturridge is unlikely, Could be wrong though Bellamy is very likely, and Yossi good chance of him also
So Sturridge on loan or transfer? Chavs might be more likely to agree a loan deal than a transfer to be honest. We do need another striker though. If Sturridge is only on loan - would we be better with Belly for a season? Oh- and I'd trust a Toby more than a Pete! The fact that he admits his name is Toby means he has some integrity.
Milk, It's a cash + Meireles transfer I think. CBA with a loan, why would we want to improve Sturridge to only send back a better player a year later to our rivals. Not 606 still painfully slow...
bellamy can be cover for downing as well as a 3rd striker and at best he'll be a relatively short term signing- a young striker would be nice as well
Rumours are Arsenal have bid £10m for Arteta, and theres a good chance it will happen, also they may be signin Drenthe from Madrid The bitterz will be fuming about Arteta if that happens
BBC sports news correspondent Dan Roan on Twitter: "David Ngog is currently having a medical at Bolton as Liverpool continue to off-load fringe players - deal imminent."
