I agree with Stephen and Jason with practably everything they say except for letting vital players demands that they want to leave the club......I would have made sure we kept Fab a keeper that was one of the best keepers in the premiership, Also J Ayew who we know can score goals....These two would make a difference and give us strength in the championship.....Another player i would have kept as i think he would shine under Potts is Clucas as we spent a lot of money for him last season and we sold him to one of our rivals this season at a huge loss. That deal was bonkers by anyone's standards.......I would have made these players give the club one more season after being handsomely rewarded by the club......But apart from that i totally agree with Stephen & Jason with what they are doing as it needed to be done......Hopefully we can bring in a couple of loanees in the next couple of weeks...
A 586 word master class in how to alienate a target audience through utterly patronizing them. The statement is a tour de force of breathtaking, pretentious, tripe. They must have been pissing themselves laughing when they wrote it. From the first condescending line alone "There comes a time when every football club has to be honest with itself and take the kind of tough decisions that secure its future" secure its future??? 1. Why turn down an offer of £8m for J Ayew one week to lose all his value and loan him out the next? Sounds desperate to me, how does this secure the clubs future? 2. Why wait until the last minute to sell Fernandez at the cut price of £6m? Sounds desperate to me, how does this secure the clubs future? 3. Why wait until the last moments of the window to sell the forth out of five centre backs, Amat, for an undisclosed £4m? Sounds desperate to me, how does this secure the clubs future? 4 Why leave the club with only one senior centre-back to face the season alone? Sounds desperate to me, how does this secure the clubs future? 5. Why wait until the last moments of the window to sell Clucass on the cheap for £6m, to a major rival in our division? Sounds desperate to me, how does this secure the clubs future? 6. How does signing a batch of green inexperienced players without signing some experience to go with them help secure the future of the club? sounds desperate to me 7. How does leaving the club with only ONE standing senior midfielder, Carroll, and expect him to stay fit and injury free while heading a midfield of green, inexperienced players help secure the future of my club? Sounds desperate to me 8. How does not signing arguably the best midfielder in the league, after his club had dropped their asking price, leaving our midfield precariously short of experience, or if not him another experienced player? Sounds cheap to me, how does this help secure the future of the club? 9. How does writing 586 of condescending, patronizing, pretentious bullshit help hide your negligence in your latest catastrophic transfer window? Sounds desperate to me but how the **** does showing your true colours help secure the future of my club?
Mad times indeed, I said this season would be like the twighlight zone, looking more by the hour...............
Why not? Leon and Rangel could do a season in the Championship and give us some experience and stability
Without a source it is just meaningless words. In my opinion, of course. Other opinions are available. I could write any rubbish on here and say it's from an inside source. Would you blindly accept it as being genuine ? Too much of this so called inside info is prevalent on 606, and I don't believe any of it.
