From what's been reported, he seems like an absolute nobhead who should probably go to prison for a couple of months and buck up his ideas. He'll obviously get a suspended sentence and a small fine and admonished for a few days before it's all forgotten.
I think his problem is that the law will say he could and should have walked away before lamping the two lads. He chose not to, any decent prosecutor will make a big thing of this.
Yeah he literally charged after them, knocked one down after repeated punches, then went after the other. Any defence based on protection is clearly bullshit.

I think everyone should just wait until it’s all over before commenting but that’s probably bye the bye for most on here.
Well I’m stumped as to what the verdict will be but I hope the jury won’t slip up on their responsibilities and will cover all verdicts when considering whether he has over stepped the mark or not.
