    Well Yakubu has gone to Blackburn after he rejected them once...do you suppose this means we told him that we will not be signing him because we have succesfully captured another striker....therefore he should look elsewhere?

    That other striker being Beckford

    Hearing we've put in £7.5m for Jelavic on twitter.

    Would probably rather Beckford but is it possible we could get both...and Kebe???

    Carlsberg don't do transfer deadline days do they?

    yh I'd rather beckford, but to get both would be great. I understand jelavic is away on international duty so not sure how that would work.

    If we got all 3 I would feel sorry for Nugent.
