    Would anyone feel a bit weird with Bassong coming back? I want him but feels like he left us, dodged a championship year and the first year in the prem, and now is allowed to just stroll back in. If I was a player that stayed for that time, I would be slightly pissed.

    i can't see it happening but had he not left us in the lurch like he did then i'd have welcomed him back with open arms.

    1515: Blackburn and Sunderland have 'tabled offers' for Georgios Samaras, according to his agent and are offering him more cash than the Greek striker is on at Celtic, too, reports BBC Sport's Matt Slater. However, the agent thinks a deal is less than 50/50 likely to happen, as Celtic want more money.

    this was on BBC. i'd never stop laughing if they lost gyan and gained samaras.

    It could also be Bassong on a loan deal. Spurs are trying to offload him, we're looking for cb lb cover, makes sense, don't it?
