Stroller why do you keep saying that when I keep reading that we have? Is it fake news? I always thought they paid off the debt.
The debt was to the owners themselves. They converted a very large amount (about £250m from memory) into equity a while back, and, as part of the FPP settlement ,they have converted a further £22m. This means that the club doesn't owe them anything, so they can't ask for it back when they move on. What it does do is value their shares at £300m or thereabouts (which is obviously crazy), and when they do eventually sell the club, they will crystallise their losses.
On a positive note sounds like Hall is getting close to returning - https://www.qpr.co.uk/videos/interviews/hall-nearing-return-to-the-playing-pitch/ If he can stay fit I think he is a quality player who is very important to us - #glasshalffullheislikeanewsigning
Hurrah, at last someone is also on the right page of the book, we don’t have debt, we actually have a few quid but some folk seem to think otherwise and for some deluded reason are under the impression we can’t spend cause we ain’t got when in fact we can’t spend cause of ffp I have therefore come to the conclusion that no matter how big a stick you use, you just can’t beat the stupid out of some people !!!!
Remember those halcyon days when we'd get Marc Nygaard in or Bob Malcolm on loan - during the window. Happy days - we didnt know how spoilt we was.
Look facts and figures aside or doomsday scenarios about us playing in DIv 8 The reality is our club is no longer great It is renowned for being a badly managed club. How does this make us look attractive to players or new investors or even new owners How can the current owners continue with the current plan? In what world would anyone continue doing this in this way It’s close to charity imo I believe TF is a wonderful human being but if this is the master plan for QPR then it’s correct to call it out. I was pretty certain this was our ending when I was on here 5 years ago The only way out of this mess is promotion and look how well we have done there ? To be pulled for saying it’s crunch time I think was wrong. I agree this thing could all go sideways very quickly and I was the one who called posters fickle on here. I was always upbeat but this is real-time now None of this of course will matter as we will still support the hoops even if we are playing Orient ... it may have to happen
I'm sure TF is a lovely guy, he comes across that way for sure. Can he run a football club...yes but very very badly.
Debts maybe written off so what Get your blinkers off and look at the position and direction that the owners have taken us Matters not to me it’s still QPR But it’s perfectly acceptable to question where we are and the way in how we got here. What’s more where’s the new plan ? In short we can be thankful for TF’s stupidity up to now. Respectful is a big ask Look around you at other clubs? We are a mess How do you benchmark us at the moment ? It’s not a hard luck story imo
According to TF's spokesperson this could be worse than Brexit!!! Unless we sit back and take it without asking questions we could end up in Div 223! And who would buy us? Our ground will be turned into Poundland and London will sink under 3 feet of water so don't have a go at TF!
Blackburn bid 5 million for Forest Beretton...too much for us...but he is a good player Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
