De Gea is in my opinion. Without him Utd would have had some really bad seasons.
Funny really as Jose once said that if you're keeper is player of the season it means you're **** (not the exact quote but along those lines). De Gea wins it nearly every year.
Keepers are just as important as strikers in reality and the fee's are starting to show that. Not sure this unknown 23 year old kid is worth anything near 71mil though. I think Arsenal got a better keeper for 19mil.
Not necessarily mate. I can see a couple of others being moved on. Bakayoko to Milan on loan is something that's being bandied about.
You're right, he's not worth anywhere near 71m, but who is apart from De Gea. Allison isn't worth 66m, but that's the way it is now. I've given up bothering about prices these days. Club finances don't bother me at all. The lad's been scouted by scouts after all, we haven't just picked his name out of a hat.
