SSN; "Sam Clucas has arrived in Stoke to have a medical and discuss personal terms after Swansea accepted a bid of around £6m, Sky Sports News has been told." 6M either we're desperate or we're crap at this negotiating malarkey, or both TBH if it means we can get Woods done then I don't give a toss
That's a massive loss on Clucas though, but only because we paid massively over the odds for him in the first place. £6m is probably the right price.
In terms of Ryan Woods, personally I know nothing about him. Are people here exaggerating how good he is ? I mean, if Stoke are prepared to pay 6M for Clucas, why don't they go for Woods if he's that much better ?
At the time our demented DOF bought Clueless for £16 Million, his transfer value was £2.5 Million, I stated on here at the time it was madness to pay more than £5 Million for him, now it must count as one of the worst deals in the clubs history, surely Jenkins should compensate the club from his own funds for the staggering £10 Million loss.........
Hes very good at what he does. Bit of a deep lying playmaker. Dictates play. Stoke have Joe Allen so dont need Woods.
I don't think Amat has settled back in Wales after his long time back in his homeland. His body language says he is not happy here. In fairness to him, given the choice of playing in Spain or being here, well, it's a no brainer.
Swansea look to beaten Aston Villa and Leeds to the signing of former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sean Clare, Sky Sports Newsunderstands. The 21-year-old is a free agent after turning down a new long-term contract at Wednesday, who would receive compensation as the player is under 23. It is understood Clare met with Graham Potter last week and a deal will be concluded tomorrow as the player is a free agent and able to sign outside the window.
Fernandez on way for medical but fee not agreed according to Sky. Now we are down to one CB. I am really getting pissed off.
