Assuming Spurs don't do a load of deals in the next 18 hours, it's surprising there is so much criticism of the failure to buy/sell. Surely continuity is a good thing when the team has been so successful over the past few years? Why do "experts" assume a team has to make signings every window to progress rather than carry on with what they've got?
If we get rid of Rose it will have been a great window. HE slagged off the team and club 2 days before the season started, claimed he weren't paid enough (even though he just signed a new contract 6 month earlier while saying how happy he was was and how he looked at Pochettino as a father figure) and disrespected new signings. Now he complain he suffered depression cos of spurs? Pathetic, self serving twattishness of the highest order. He is totally and soley responsible for screwing up his spurs career so he should STFU and clean up the mess HE made. The man is a two faced, greedy, lying spineless **** bag and the sooner he leaves the better. The only differences between him and Campbell is a) he won't go on a free b) he aint joining arsenal but that's only cos he didn't get the chance. To an extent I agree. Although our CM options are weak, hence why I’ve wanted ideally two of them this window. Providing no outgoings, if we can still get Grealish and also someone marquee like Ndombele/ Brozovic/ SMS (dreaming there)/ someone that becomes available late, then I’ll be well happy. A few extra players elsewhere would be nice but as I’ve said countless times, CM is all care about.

Because we need strengthening? I don't want a whole new starting 11 but we have some glaring voids in our team that need plugging...we didn't win anything therefore there is room for improvement. CM for a start

Exactly...it's reasonable without suggesting we don't appreciate the value of a settled team. It's all about the quality of the addition. Why are Pool changing their team even though they had a fantastic season?

Kovacic to chavski as part of the Courtois deal so we couldn't have him. I hope for his sake the chavs bench is more comfortable than the bench at RM. Sometimes I worry for the future of football, it is no longer about building a good side and playing attractive football, weakening the opposition is becoming more and more part and parcel of the game.
