so are we seeing a damp squib of a deadline line day then? Its less than 24 hours to go and not much chance of a lot of travel and medicals on the last day for major transfers Cheslea have a new keeper arriving for medical and old keeper is going. Everton have a short Brazilian already arrived for medical tomorrow. UTd are hawking round for a CB Spurs have done nothing at all. Cheslea might do this that and the other... but have very little time so lets see. Arsenal packed up and went home weeks ago. City are asleep but might buy someone amazing... according to rags. Nobody wants LFC cast offs. LFC not buying anyone.
Reportedly West Ham and Milan pulled out because of the £200k wages, he's been available for 2 months, no wonder.
Turns out its even more convoluted than that So- The player has to pay the release clause fee to La Liga... Who then pay the money to the selling club...The buying club then reimburses the player the fee. So in a contract release clause the money has to go through the leagues governing body from the player before it can be accepted. Just how utterly ludicrous is that? So in reality Chelsea will pay Kepa the £71m before a bid is accepted. Like I said
everyone let's.it rest in an account accumulating money. can you imagine having neymar 200mil rest in an account for a day?
Just in case anyone's interested - Buy-out clauses are prevalent in Spain and are somewhat different to a release clause. They are a mandatory element of most Spanish contracts and are usually set at a very high figure which is not necessarily the true market value of the player. The player has to literally ‘buy out’ his contract at the stipulated amount, though in practice, it is the purchasing club who pays the amount via the player. This can be a complicated process because of the practical tax logistics of a purchasing club transferring the ‘buy-out’ fee to the player who will in turn buy out his contract. We saw this with Manchester United’s reported failed bid with Anders Herrera and Javi Martinez’s successful transfer to Bayern Munich. http://www.danielgeey.com/buy-out-release-clauses-in-football-the-basics/
weird it's a loan. the guy knows he's out at real but hey... it's a great window to be in and gives Chelsea a really strong midfield trio. they really just need a cb to partner rudiger and they have a really bloody good 11.
nah, it's a solid but probably not the most creative midfield. Plus we lack a centre forward if he uses morata. Giroud will be more useful
do you need creative cm if you free hazard? maybe sarri will get the best out of a very fine player in morata. like....
yes you do. Your midfield got away with it last season because your fullbacks are very good going forward and also your attack can provide for themselves and are quick and incisive on the counter. Ours doesn't because Hazard doesn't have that top speed and doesn't make that many runs in behind. Likewise willian is even worse for making runs in behind although he is quick. Lastly firmino can hold it up and play it well and link with salah and mane who have that speed once in behind. Ours doesn't function like that as they lack the movement and top speed and moratas a little softie so we need a CM to maraud through. Kante has the speed but doesn't know what to do with the ball or make that past through either.
Sanchez now demanding big Man Utd buys. you give a guy messi level wages anf he starts thinking he can.make demands like messi
