so who's is this? TBH I'd be almost tempted to take that table as is right now but theres a lot of shockers in it. 1. City winning is not rocket science they must go in as red hot favourites. 2. Spurs? with zero signings (and zero sales) they've a good 11 no question but the thing is if anyone like kane or eriksen get an injury theres no way they will be 2nd. 3. everton 10th... cmon!
It's all just hot air, or hot bandwidth, and means nothing. Game by game the season will show itself for what it is
Pochettino has already blamed Brexit for Spurs' lack of signings, which is one of the most desperate attempts to pin something on it yet. Actually, that was more the headline; what he blamed was the fall in the pound, which doesn't explain why others still managed to buy, or indeed, why Spurs bought in other pre-Brexit seasons, when the pound also fell, because as any fule kno, the pound rose and fell long before Brexit. Perhaps Brexit is just his new nickname for Levy. That would make more sense.
He really painted himself into a corner with his comments in May. thinking that as a manager he could put pressure on Daniel levy..oops. you are.right btw. the pound bounces up and down so if he is saying spurs only sign in one week of year and this week the rate wasn't right... well that's a bad strategy
Is Spurs the only Premier league club based in Britain? Britain must be a smaller place than it was when I was there.
