Wouldnt be too bothered, think our sqaud is good enough for mid table, but if fonte gets injured were screwed
Tackle that problem if it comes, but for now stay positive - Jay Rod move could be back on... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11708_7140393,00.html
I'll be a little disappointed but I think our squad is more than strong enough to get us to at least January.
The fact that we have been tracking some players certainly suggests the NA believes we need to have more strength in depth, so if we don't sign anyone i would be slightly concerned, however if we keep the boys fit (BIG IF) we will be fine until January Window.
I would burst into tears, go into a deep depression, leave my girlfriend and review my life while staring into a sunset.
That's the bit that worries me... would be nice to see another centre back who is well worthy of a first team place come in. Not convinced by Sebo and Martin playing together, and Jaidi at the moment seems to be struggling with injuries.
I'm happy with the squad we've got although a couple of players to add more depth would be nice. I think we will sign at least one player today but I won't be disappointed if we don't.
We need to sign if we are to mount a serious challenge for a play off position, at least a centre back of quality and preferably a centre forward, someone quick, to feed off Lambert.
The renewed contracts were as good as signing new players, and except the Chamberlain deal and perhaps signing Fonte, Lallana's contract extension last season for me eclipses any signing we may make this window. A Centre Half is required for cover at least, but I will not be overly concerned if there is no signing. However, as Spiderman identifies, if Fonte (as well as Lallana) get injured, long term anyway, I do not think we are strong enough for a play off push. With the two, who knows. Fonte needs cover or a partner, but for now I am content.
