Sharp would be bad for squad morale , especially the other strikers , he'd come in here scoring goals and **** . Wouldn't fit in.

Forwards scoring for us is not in the club's philosophy

Sharp's 32... doesnt really fit in with buying young, hungry players to do well and hopefully sell for profit.

This is the part of the transfer window that Ehab love's the last 24 hour watching peoples hope's dashed.
Agree, but in transfer window desperation, that may have gone the same way as the bids on the table, "out the window" excuse the pun.

Christian Doidge is wanting out of Forest Green, 25 years old and 6ft 2. 15 goals in a crap League 2 team last season, 25 goals in the National League the season before. Peterborough and Ipswich interested. I'd use that as an indicator, if Peterborough are interested in a lower league striker, sign them.

You can still sign loan players until the end of the month and I think this is what will happen. You can always agree a loan deal which will become permanent in January as well

"Leeds United have now taken advantage of Hull messing about in their pursuit of Norwood and are now in advanced talks with him over a move to Elland Road."

To be fair will anyone miss Dicko? He's not exactly done well for us has he. Full of effort and fight but strikers need to score goals..

Norwood is clearly the player that Adkin was referring to in a recent interview when he responded by saying that one of our targets had now decided to join another club. It's hardly a surprise with the way our incoming transfers are handled, the boy blunder is clearly a completely useless ****wit. He should consider himself very fortunate to have been born into a wealthy family otherwise he would be completely friendless, because let's face it the only associates that he will have will be mercinary ones. What a sad and depressing way to live your life.

I dunno.. Adkins said he was talking with a player and then later said the player has decided to go elsewhere.. How can Adkins talk with Norwood if we havnt had a bid accepted for him yet?

It could have been any player. I doubt it was Norwood as we haven’t matched the fee Brighton wanted for the player.

Exactly, decided to go elsewhere because Ehab ****ed about that much that other clubs jumped the queue before we could officially even speak to the player.

I dont think its even that.
The Allams are making sure they will get all their money back (ignoring that it was a gift, that they've enjoyed good interest income, no doubt tax and group offsets, etc) so are only prepared to do business on the very cheap, or not at all. They still want to leave a club sufficiently intact for someone to take on, but after the short lived flurry of signings, they see the urgency of more signings as much reduced (they probably even think we could get by as we are), so its now only absolute steals or else a couple more loans to come.
I would think they would of expected good offers for at least a couple of ours, which they would of cashed in on and used only a fraction of the fees on replacements. Probably much to their dismay, that hasnt happened (yet).
