    Nice 45 from the lads. Front 3 are electric.

    Fabinho is really growing in the 6 position. Hard to see Henderson getting in ahead of him. And typical - has 95% penalty conversion rate and missed his first one for us!!

    Yeah, Salah looks rusty. .. he actually lost the ball a few times with faffy trick passes including one they broke and scored from.

    Although Moreno apparently can't look behind him ever.... and Phillips lost his man too.

    As long as he never has to chase back.

    We are all good at something. Fabinho is a nice player but chasing round full pelt in the prem will be a challenge for him

    Keita has been a bit subdued as he is not sure where to be in this formation. Wij looks like the player I was expecting to see in Naby. It is good what a little competition does to a player.

    Actually tbh I didn't see that much difference with Hendo... lots of passing it to VD who then played the forward ball.

    But in fairness he's still very new to the squad obviously .... misses penalties like Hendo :bandit:

    Gini in the advanced role looks really good. Hopefully he plays without the shackles this season because he was like a ghost last season

    Didn't look like. Moreno let the crosser move towards the line and put in a square ball. Phillips had let Belotti walk past him for the tap in.

    It’s subtle - it’s receiving the ball on the turn and facing forward, and playing progressively. There was another example of when he was surrounded by two players but played out of trouble. And he positions himself higher unlike Hendo who likes to drop in between the cbs and leave a big space in front. It’s also the composure on the ball - no hoofing the ball

    Subtle but it allows to us to get the ball up field quicker
