It's win-win for us with Ings.
We want to keep him but agreed to his wishes to let him leave so he could play.

A sub for 10 mins type thing.. allows solanke go on loan and maybe learn how to shoot one side of the keeper.

he got his minutes and almost without exception fires every shot at the keeper. He's a nice lad but theres a difference between jobbing for Chelsea on loan then disappearing and being a sub at LFC and costing us any chance to a title race.

If we keep him in the squad he might get a few games no question. but he will just do the same thing = miss chances. thats fine for the odd 20min spell here and there when salah has scored a couple already i suppose.
This is all in the context of:
a) sturrdige playing (ha as if!)
b) ings not being sold (likley as we are pricing him out)
c) origi being sold or loaned
If ings is there would you play ings who's a trier but **** or solanke who's young and keeps hitting his efforts at the keeper. Its a straight choice once sturridge breaks a toe nail.
