Of course everyone could just behave like adults and no rules or moderators would be necessary. Crazy idea I know, but that’s me, I like to pluck one out of left field every know and then. Leeds are tearing stoke a new one on one match day thread, and the not 606ers are too busy bickering on the other one to notice. You need to show each other some respect and address each other in a cordial fashion, you fcuking morons.
Man up you ****ing pussies, if you dont like what someone says tell the **** to **** off or ignore the post and move on to the next one ya bastards Great display from the lads yesterday onwards and upwards ALAW
Ahh I get it now, I must admit it went over my head on Saturday. The reason I never clicked the like button on any of the posts was because I wasn’t following what was going on in here. For me, this was a silly idea having a second match day thread, no issues if others feel different but I certainly wasn’t going to stick around following an unofficial/anything goes match thread. I assumed it was just a banter thread and as I was watching on TV and as I dare not blink in case I missed some of the action I visited the forum briefly via my phone which went straight to the official match day thread. If you’d posted in there it would have received attention as I’d have seen it. No energy for more battles today but I do have it on good authority that someone suggested that the Saloon thread could be created to absorb banter away from the match day thread, hence why I don’t see the point of an anything goes Saloon when every thread apart from match day is just the same. Anyway, enjoy your posts Jammy, the place is better with your input and hoping you continue to post.
Another member said pretty much the same to me via PM, we’ve enough senior members to self moderate themselves, if it gets out of hand it’s easy for someone to say come on guys you’re ruining a good thread. Exception would be if a pissing match started, they’d just get deleted straight away. I’ve been given permission to forward the PM contents to Bucks and Elland for consideration.
You guys make the board the success it is today. Thousands of people love reading through the threads each month, and I'm proud to be a part of it. Nobody is bigger then the board itself, and we (the mods) try to serve it / you the best way we know how.
I like Forzas idea but.... You’d be swapping one non banter thread for another, formations, tactics, team selection is all about the match day experience. I’d say ban the Millwall lads from the match day threads as they can easily create 3 pages of dribble but based on our performance against Stoke I don’t think they’ll ever show up again
I dont have a problem with any leeds poster and the banter and squabbles always made me chuckle. For me post what you like after all its just words.
