I was going to say or ask the question Good or Bad but after the performance and result it’s Bielsas way so it has to be good? The way Bielsa didn’t look at a single player as they were subbed, no pat on the back, no well done, he just looked the other way.
Actually, there was one occasion when, if I saw it right, Saiz could have been red-carded. He was fouled & from lying on the ground, he violently threw the ball at the fouling barstewards face at close range, right in front of the ref! Forgot about that. The petulance has not yet disappeared.
Aston Villa and Leeds United both want to sign midfielder George Saville from Millwall. Can't see many Leeds fans wanting Savile on their shirts.. please log in to view this image
Players have just done what he expected them to do, I wouldnt dish out praise so easy if I wasnt a fan but a manager! Make them work harder for praise! I dont get a pat on the back for turning up and doing what I need to at work, but i would certainly get a bollocking if I didnt
Transfer update from Phil Hay Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP Pennington situation hasn't moved forward yet and I still wonder if Everton would rather send him to a club where he'll play regularly. There is interest in Norwood. Not getting the vibes that Nmecha will happen but could be wrong.
Why are we interested? Must be that we need one or more of the following? a) Babysitter b) Santa for Xmas c) Night watchman d) Plumber e) Spark f) Joiner g) General handyman Should be a while before the wallies are back on here, so I'm safe for now.
I think Bielsa is going to be an interesting character. In the press conference I noticed he did not do eye contact once, in fact at the start he was looking down at the table. I know it’s all translated but no eye contact was still unusual. Just putting that alongside not reacting to goals, to players coming off etc
Didn't the Sky pundit say it was the first time he'd EVER done a post match interview on TV ? And it looked a bit odd when the translator whispered (loudly) into his ear the English translation of his own reply, only for Bielsa to then turn to the camera to repeat it, often with hilarious results. But if it's true about never doing a post-match interview before, then fair play to him for even attempting to do it in English, sort of. Makes me love him even more.
You know what i'm gonna surprise you all now,Mr Bielsa is my hero after sundays match, someone posted a recording of the crowd & dug out erupting it was mayhem all around him & their he was still sat on his little stool totally unflustered by it all,you gotta love this guy
No because I always belied that is setting our ambitions too low. What good did the playoffs do Derby or Villa last season
