    Doubt he'll agree terms. He'll be out to screw Leicester for a big wage if they are desperate for a striker, especially as he's dropping back down a division.

    News: Skysports.com understands Leicester City are rivalling Stoke City for the signing of Cameron Jerome.

    Leicester are a joke, why do they not organise and coach their current players into doing a better job, rather than chucking money at anyone on the market??

    If any club are up for paying over the odds for anyone, its them! He will prob get offered whatever he wants.

    It's Sven, what do you expect? I wouldn't be surprised if Sven is using his same agent mates for all these deals, he's not far behind 'Arry in that regard.

    Beckford is overrated IMO, all pace and nothing else. So Leicester are well to him

    I would have liked Beckford to come here, apart from his attitude his scoring record is sensational and he'd be a good signing for anyone in this division, but I trust NA and NC to get us the right player before 11pm <ok>

    becks said he wanted to stay at everton, so i doubt we wanted him because adkins(jesus) said he only wants players who want to play for this club.

    Sven will be sacked by Christmas, despite a lucky win over us their form is appalling. Again he will walk off with bucket loads of cash for a poor perfoemance. I can't believe he is still getting away with this.

    I have nothing against Leicester, but plenty against the slap head freak.

    Where were all you Sven doubters when I was getting hauled across the coals in the Leicester v Saints thread for saying what a waste of space he was...? :smile:

    Anyway, I would not have liked Beckford at Saints - as a few are saying: over-rated, couldn't do it in the Premiership, would unsettle our strikeforce with his attitude (had the gall to throw a few strops at Everton after being taken off before the 90 after yet another underwhelming game). Sven probably only wanted him cos he's by name about as close as he's going to get to Beckham.

    Hope Sven drowns under the weight of all of their egos, before drops it all to mess up England's Olympic hopes...
