What's got to be appreciated though is those strikers you've mentioned have played in better sides than Spurs over the years. They've had a lot more opportunities in the big games than what Kane has with us and been surrounded by more big game players to aid their cause.

In the four years Kane's been in the first team, he's finished second, first, first and second with regards to the golden boot. That's in a side who's generally expected to finish 5th-6th each season but has punched above our weight for last three seasons with top three finishes and he's been a massive part in that.

Only you lot expect you to finish 5-6th though, the rest of us dont buy that, it's too convenient. United have a ****e team full of ****e players according to most folk but we are expected to win the league or finish 2nd according to the same people due to how much we spent.

Spurs should be winning the league, I don't see why you should finish 5-6th.

We ourselves don't expect that, we usually feel we can be a top four side but media and pundits in general always have Spurs down to finish 5th-6th. We're a bit of quality short from being genuine title challengers though and that's the problem for Spurs, we don't have the same pulling power as the sides around us to bring in that desired bit of extra quality. You lot in recent years have managed to sign Pogba from Juve and Sanchez from Arsenal, we're unable to do that sort of business where we can go to a massive club and take their star player, that's likely what will keep us as being nearly men rather than the ones that get over the line, unless we can try and find a few more Eriksen's/ Alli's etc but that's much easier said than done.

Admittedly ... but doesn't invalidate my point ... the two goals Ahmed Musa scored in open play were better than Harry's ... and he didn't have Eriksen either ...

Aguero is s great striker coming to the end of a his career. If you’re asking me who I’d choose - Kane. He’s a world class striker and 5 years younger.

That's nothing to do with who is better though. Kane isn't better than Messi is he just because he's younger?

Aguero is the best striker in the PL, end of discussion.

If we’re talking right now, I disagree. Firstly, the latest figures say otherwise, and Aguero has world class talent like Silva, De Bruyne, Sane to feed off. So comparisons are not that easy,

Eriksen is the only one in the same league as Silva and Debruyne.

The simple fact is that Aguero has always had more top class players to assist him than Kane. There’s no denying that

The latest figures say Aguero has two goals this season and Kane has none.

The latest figures say Aguero 3 vs 0 Kane PL trophies.

The latest figures say I'm a United fan so what reason do I have to say Aguero is better?

Like De Silva, Fernandinho, et al...

And, yes, Sterling usually plays well for City. Something to do with having top quality players around him, perhaps??

Aguero has been brilliant for years and surely you can see he's a more complete forward than Kane? You can't just go on stats.

I have to agree with Tel, he's the best striker in the league.
