I can only see Simpson going out on loan if we get Waghorn on loan. I'm pretty much certain that there wont be anymore in's or out's of any kind and definately no new permanent signings !!!!
As we are only looking at loan moves in/out it will all happen on the 8th.Sept, when the loan market opens.
i doubt anything will happen either. we'll be lucky to get waghorn in (although i dont rate him any higher than simpson) id much rather the club put their efforts into signing a new keeper.
Do we have to complete any season long loans within this window? Isn't the loan window for these 93 day 'emergency' loans only? Might have that completely wrong!
Season long loans deals have to be done today, I hope that we're really trying to sign a new goalkeeper. I'd say we need one more than a keeper
Olofinjana won`t be going anywhere, he`s still injured. As for the others possibly going out Simpson may be released if we get the striker we`re after, believe that is Waghorn, although I agree, he isn`t any better then what we`ve got. I very much doubt whether anyone will be in for Harper. I too am looking for a goalkeeper to come in, if that happens don`t be surprised to see Gulacsi sent back to Liverpool. One of the Leicester fans came on and suggested Howard may be looking for another club, possible surprise ? But I think we`ll be very quiet until the loan market opens up personally.
We've had all summer to get in what we need, we deserve all we get if we end up missing out at the death. I find it obsurd that we still haven't got a permanent number 1 goalkeeper after several transfer windows. Ridiculous.
Oli NO Harper YES Simpson No on a side issue. Peterborough Utd have accepted a 2.5m offer for Goerge Boyd from a panicking PL club. So he looks to be gone. Good news for Citys next game.
correct. spot on. maybe NP will do some more January deals and tweak the squad subject to how the season is going. any loans agreed today can stay until citys season ends and dont forget that the NPC playoffs start earlier and the final is may 19th due to Euro 2012. but yes you are correct.
yes. the point i was making is that in January NP can extend loans, make loans permanant etc etc etc. but for now yes we do.
What the hell is wrong with saying there will not be any business done today. It is probably true and we will wait till the loan market re opens in September to do any business. We are after all having to do everything on the cheap.
James Beattie is avaliable for loan from Rangers. He's got a good record in the Championship. I'd have him at the club.
