Was being driven to a resort by our spanish dogsbody Manolo, when we passed an injured pigeon at the side of the road. he stopped the car and gingerly picked it up, bought it into the car and placed it carefully in the opened glovebox. 'what a nice man', I thought, just then it started flapping it's wings and going a bit mad, so he grabbed it and wrung it's neck, looked at me licking his lips and said 'dinner'.
when I worked in Newham Council in Stratford Library there was a mad **** of a manager who lived out in the sticks who delighted in telling us how she used to eat road kill...she'd stop and scrap up squirrels, birds, badgers and all kinds of ****, take them home and cook them.
If you hit a pheasant or deer in your car it's illegal to pick it up and take it home to cook. If you are in the car behind and pick it up its perfectly legal. I have eaten road kill pheasant it was a bit tough.
me too ( Rat Bikers provided the snap ) but one advantage is at least you dont bite down on a bit of shot .
Killed a few Islamic extremists. Some of them were even armed. Killed my first wife and my second. Going for a triple threat but this one is surprisingly tenacious . Killed a car once, with an AT 4. Can't confirm the casualty count on that one though.
