I'm surprised that a poster of your intellect would even click on the link let alone digest its continual bile. Guardian for me , much more balanced reporting with little or no bias

Did anyone notice Monty's dance of delight when we scored the winner?

I have to confess to occasionally dipping my feet in the water, but it really is a shallow, uninformed, highly repetitive website.

The Guardian isn't a patch on what it used to be.

I much preferred the old Neath Guardian - fair and balanced coverage, and Neath RFC never got beat, no matter how many points the opposition scored <laugh>

Ok so I am eating this pie as well today, coupled with a banging hangover. But, there is still a long long way to go and the side still needs strengthening, happy with back 4 and with the width we have and to be fair Mcburnie was a handful, I still think we need a strong central midfield player and would love to see Woods, Fer and Celina in there. Great win and they dug in to get it, for long periods of the game we were poor but I will take that if we can get 3 points every week, must give them the confidence for Tuesdays game and hopefully more points on the board after it.

Not really sure what you and a few others expected to be honest ,Utd didn’t concede more than one goal against them at home last season ,Potter put out a young inexprienced side players who for some had only joined in the week , if that performance is the worst we’ll see from them then I’d take that all day

Is there a game on Tuesday? And did we get a bye in the EFL cup first round as I can't see Swansea in it.

It was our shocking Home form that took us down last season so i hope that has been sorted and i'm sure it has but i would have liked to have seen us play a big team at home during pre season so the lads could have had a taste of the atmosphere at the liberty......I'm sure it will be fine as we must make the liberty a fortress...

There was also that delightfully biased touch judge who officiated at every match. Even I got embarrassed by him on times. He was worth twenty yards at every kick to touch.

You are referring to my old friend, who is no longer with us, Billy Thomas - nicknamed ‘Billy Flag’ <cheers>

In fact there were quite a few characters on the Neath RFC committee, including Norman Rees, Martyn Davies & Dai Shaw - Malcolm Struel served on it for a number of years. He was close to Brian Thomas.
