I hope for QPRted to post in lowercase this season. I know it is a big ask and we probably have more chance of being promoted, however, on behalf of the members here, l feel compelled to make this formal request.

He’s managed 4 different clubs in the PL for 116 games, of which he has won 26.

Big interview with him in the Sunday Times, where he strenuously sets expectations by going on about his tiny budget.

Nasty piece of work, great Championship manager.

One line leaps out ‘I like to find players who are good value for money’
    I give you
    Shaun Wright Phillips
    Anton Ferdinand
    DJ Campbell
    Kieron Dyer
    Danny Gabbidon
    Jay Bothroyd
    Rob Hulse
All but one from one summer. And ignoring Joey Barton (Fleetwood lost at home to Wimbledon yesterday) as he is a divisive figure in terms of contribution and Bloody Luke Young who was ok before he milked us for years without playing.

The evidence only emerged this morning.......but a healthy debate never ends. Especially when I think I might be gaining the upper hand.

I will always like NW for giving us Taarabt and still to date showing the world how to manage him

I think NW will fall by the sword of course as Premiership football is not his bag
If you want to play the Dinosaur English Manager then you have to adapt like Dyche or go full on New Wave like Eddie Howe at Bournemouth

Still he has Cardiff playing on boost and will be in the mix bottom league to stay up

    So
    Houghton
    Hodgson
    Dyche
    Howe
    Wannock

Hughes is Welsh and finds himself at the best run club in Europe

Does Wannock fit in to a league dominated by overseas football ? Part of me wants him to do really well with his ideals

It maybe an entertainment league for the British based in the U.K. but that could all change

    Upper hand? Lol!

Of course, if you compared Colin with Howe or Burnley’s very own Gravel Voice he’s gonna be found wanting. Most likely with Hughton too.

But I do think it’s harsh to label him a crap Pwem manager on the basis of Notts County (small club, **** all resource, lucky to be there in the first place), Sheffield United (a small matter of a pock-faced Argie) and the Mighty Rs (panic-buying after Tony’s late pre-season takeover, sacked 3 months in when not in a relegation place, replaced by a Welsh Tit that spend significantly more and only survived by sheer luck on the final day of the season).

He’s right about Cardiff’s chances in the same way ‘experts’ didn’t fancy Brighton, Udders Feeled and Toon staying up last time. I believe it’s difficult and I believe many of the ‘top-top’ managers (as Merse might say) would struggle to do any better.
