Sunderland had a 16 year old in their starting line up. I hate throwig the kids in too early but today, we needed changes and Bow did nothing. I'm sure if he walks you are right and we'll get another freak in to manage us, so despite his naivity, I'd rather stick with our current manager. But I doubt he is doing himself any favours getting embroiled in the mess we are in.
Zero chance of Bowyer walking. He knows he's getting f***** about, but also knows he's not getting a manager's job elsewhere.
Bowyer is trying to do the right thing by the club & remaining fans. Hats off to him. He certainly isn’t doing it for the breadcrumbs RD is paying him.
Bowyer had a perfectly good lifestyle with his fish farm before he was asked to come to Charlton and help with coaching the midfield, then asked to step in as manager. He clearly has affection for Charlton, and there's no reason to assume he would want another managerial job as opposed to running his fish farm.
Taylor was apparently knackered. Ajose could have come on and chased a bit. Naby Sarr could also have come on. If the team were knackered at 60 minutes, we should really have bought somtone on. Or was Bow trying to make a point to RD?
Good game at the San Siro today. Welling 2 Dulwich Hamlet 0. Excellent atmosphere. Good burgers, loads of chips reasonably priced and proper football fans. I could get used to this non league lark.
Not that I rate him, but do feel Ajose should’ve come on for Grant or Taylor, that aside nothing else Bowyer could’ve done
Ajose is a one season wonder flash in the pan lazy bastard - hence every manager he has had happy to sell him. Grafting & closing down are not his strong points. I heard he was ‘rested’ yesterday to prevent injury before he is sold next week. #goodriddance
