top 2??? Only if you turn the league table upside down. We are destined for L2, even with the return of the injured players. That today was total and utter crap. GK should have held on to the first goal; Amos would not have made that mistake. Alex Ferguson was right, you will not win anything with kids, no-hopers, and football has-beens, which is what we have at the moment. Bowyer should walk away now while his reputation is still in hand; WE ARE THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE EFL AT THE MOMENT. Totally useless, totally inept, and it is totally due to RD, may he rot in hell!!!!!
I never said anything about finishing in the top 2 and SAF never said anything about not winning things with kids. He won the league with kids Half of our squad is the youth academy. Our centre midfielder has only just sat his GCSE's a couple months back. Age doesn't matter, if they're good enough chuck them in.
I don't as I would not have asked. Anyway, get the card out for Accrington. Lots of entertaining to do.
I wonder why they housed you behind the goal. We always get the upper tier in the stand to your right. **** view from there.
Every club gets put up there behind the goal. It's killed the atmosphere and the new chairman has said next season they'll be back in the south stand behind the goal on the same level as the home fans.
I guess that is the shape of things to come. Last season (and the previous couplé) we thought we probably didn't have enough depth to see out the season. This year, we have a new low - we start with a squad that can't see out 90 minutes. When Sunderland turned the screw, and legs tired, there was nothing on the bench that Bow thought might swing things back our way. RD should consider hat if no one is prepared to meet his ludicrous asking rice for a tier three team, next season in tier 4 will involve further losses and a huge evaluation of how much he can expect to recoup by selling up. We still have a couple of days to shore up the squad - if we don't take them, we'll be in relegation trouble by october, and the injuries Will be required to make their return in a struggling team. Bow should look at himself in the mirror and ask if he really needs this shambles. He was promised (ha ha ha) the job on a full time basis if the takeover failed to happen, so he is now officially in the 'taking it up the backside' group of anagers who regularly got shafted by RD. He is also starting to offer a few quotes ('aiming for promotion') which suggest he actually likes it that way. If we fail to reinforce seriously next week, he would be well advised to walk. I feel sorry for the fans who had a point whipped away at the end of a tough match, and the players who by all accounts gave everything against a team who will surely be up there next may. Shoud we have made changes before the equaliser? Almost certainly, but what did we have on our half empty bench? All in all a bad start to the new term, but the worst is what this all augers, unless the Aussies step in sharpish, and really spend big. At the momento, flying pigs over the Vally seems more likely. ps Congrats to CBD saffy. Good start and all the best for the rest of the season. You guys shouldn't be down here.
You don't. The away fans placing starts up behind the goal and around just passed the corner flag. You must be thinking of something else.
Thanks Ken, although I disagree. We are where we deserve to be. Our club has been an utter shambles under the old owner and if he didn't sell up, we'd be struggling again this season, no doubt about that one. It's sad when somebody with no affinity comes in and rips our clubs apart, I know what you're going through. He'll leave one day and at that point all new hope will come flooding back and you can start to go on an upward spiral again yourselves
Nope. 7000 of us in there in the cup two / three years ago and we were there in league as well. Perhaps we got behind the goal top tier as well?
Yeah, you did. I can't remember any team ever getting put at the side. Not even Newcastle. It might just be because you lot are cnuts
Ken - it’s no good saying Bowyer should ask himself if he needs this hassle ...what do you think happens if he walks away ?! I’ll answer it - another Karel Fraeye clueless Belgian trick artist walks thru our door...and things get even worse. Bowyer has proved that he can motivate and organise the players. Tactically he is still learning on the job. His 5 man bench today consisted of 3 kids, a player being sold next week, and Sarr, juat about the worst of the Network signings. I’m convinced we will go down this season if this Belgian w anchor stays. And what’s happened to those sports mad Aussies we had rammed down our throats all summer ???
