It won’t cost him anything unless he has a data limit contract (I suppose he might if it’s a holiday home), but might slow things down if there are others on line at the same time. If you have decent 4G signal and a smartphone that would work too. And before we get into connectivity in France I can’t get a mobile signal in my ****ing kitchen in the middle of a town.....
