It’s like they think doing all this will make Fat Mike spend the cash. He doesn’t give a **** about what people think. He won’t spend the money so the fans have to deal with it. This outpouring of emotion doesn’t help. Like ES, MA will sell when he is good and ready.
Due to a **** up on his part when he failed to notice the spiralling debt left by the previous incumbents. For what it’s worth, I don’t expect him to chuck 100million around. It wouldn’t be enough to get above to get much above where we finished last season and to get top 8, we’d need to spend 300million (factoring in spend from other clubs) at a minimum. It’s not feasible but I’d like to see us spend some money and not being outspent by everyone except Cardiff City!! Our record transfer is 16.5million back in 2006! Surely even attempting to break that (given the crazy transfer prices nowadays) is a must otherwise the question begs, who are we buying?!

Genuinely no idea mate, today will be fascinating on that respect. I don’t if we’ve signed good, great or average, I don’t know what the calibre of the league is like. I’d be surprised massively if we weren’t super competitive, and the players we are bringing in seem really hungry and proud to be here, on a whim I’d back us to get up if pushed but in reality none of us know what we are for 4-6 games. I’m supremely impressed with Jack Ross and that’s a good start.
Well I'm more than confident our academy kids are more than good enough for this league. On the signings I don't know many but things like the reactions of fans and journos of the selling clubs says we're getting excellent players for this level. Looking at the stature of some of the signs too, for example we've just signed Peterbrough's captain(Jack Baldwin), a head on automatic promotion rival and we've taken their captain but given our armband to one of our kids. That shows our size and pulling power at this level so doubt we're targeting less than quality for this league. Without knowing the players there's enough to go on that we're going to have a good season imo. Though the CBs today didn't fill me with confidence I still think we'll do grand. I'm sticking with my prediction of going up Champions.
