I'll follow it online. But for once, no I'm not down there. Difficult to find the motivation when the outcome is so predictable.
I don't think I can remember a Summer when there has been a period in which I have no interest in Hants. Rod must be a bit worried about the loss of t20 revenue, it's the biggest income stream during the season.
At least Fidel has been left out. OK, Abbott's economy is sky high this season, but at some point his form has to return. And he can bat. That alone could be important.
This is, on paper, what an attack of Wood, Abbott, Dawson and Mujeeb should be doing. Even against an exceptionally strong Kent batting line-up. Finally someone who knows how to get Blake out early.
When does this City Franchise kick-in? So we could someone like Vince playing for the Birmingham Bears if all the players are up for auction.
Can't complain at those 20 overs. Although the way we've batted this season, 140 still might be tough.
Having sampled the glory of a winning day out at Lords´ it looks as if Hampshire´s energy is spent at the moment in the one-day game. Looking forward to the return of the4 day game when this T20 nonsense has been concluded. Hants need to start winning these games to pull clear of relegation.
A brutal demolition!! Surrey have a lot of firepower in their line-up!! Can they get win the Double (T20 and County Championship)? What was the crowd and were there any Middlesex supporters in attendance?
Last day of Test...could be interesting, but I think we needed another 50 runs. Be a good idea to stop dropping catches....just a little hint for the players.
Stating the obvious, but getting Kohli out early today is essential. He could become only the third player in history to score more than 50% of his side’s runs in a Test Match.
They missed 3 chances to get Kohli out in the first innings....we should have got a bigger lead. Love to be proved wrong, but I can't see us pulling this off...just a bit short.
However, India depending so much on one player suggests that we have a good chance of winning the series. Curran has done excellently in this Test, but in general we have more depth. To avoid being quoted on this, this post will self-destruct in 5 minutes. You may wish to turn your computer off.
