Some saying he needs dispensation because he doesn't meet the criteria for a work permit based on Int Caps. I'm dubious about the quality of both these signings to be honest. A completely unprolific striker and to be honest I get jitters whenever we look at a Deportivo player now... but we are where we are.
Muto, if he can replicate his Bundesliga level would be decent for us. If he can improve, great. But I agree, we need a clinical striker too. If we go with just Muto in terms of strengthening the forward line then that would be extremely risky and lacking in ambition.
Is your faux shock at the prospect of Mike displaying a lack of ambition, or is it a symptom of being confronted with a balanced point of view?
https://www.themag.co.uk/2018/08/yo...stle-united-player-work-permit-waved-through/ Muto deal has gone through. Now maybe we can work on a LB, and another striker/AM to come in.
Apparently we're after Maolido. Should look him up on FM mate. God knows if he's much crack in real life but currently converting him from LW to CF for the Toon and he's scoring for fun
Will do! Just resigned from Fulham after failing to keep them up after promotion, couldn't get Mitro in after the loan... Just taken on newly promoted Hull to see if we have any better luck but desperately need a striker...
Love it, literally could never make nitro good for me (or any target man actually) but Gayle always knocks in 15-20 talk about life in reverse. Finding strikers the hardest to get right this year. Arma as an odd suggestion. Stats are newt special but he seems to get a few for me as a poacher, moreso if I'm having to play on the break. James Bree's another one who has **** stats, but for the last few years has been getting me a silly amount of assists.
Ah I love a target man, get your full backs bombing forwards and getting in the crosses - wingers cut inside for the knockdowns. I'll send evidence later but Mitro had 30 goals and something like 12 assists for me in the league for the promotion season! I got James Wilson on a free for Hull, his pace is terrifying but he could score in a brothel haha. need a fnisher. Arma wouldn't be a bad shout but I doubt I'll get many chances this season with Hull so I need someone clinical! Augusto Batalla is my young prodigy atm if you want a young keeper - Argie wonderkid but he's SO hard to get a work permit for this year.
People having fun on Wiki... Newcastle United[edit] Yoshinori Mutō signed for Premier League club Newcastle United after being granted a work permit. Known as the Japanese Giant, Muto became an instant fan favorite for slaying the beast Mike "Fat Boy" Ashley and setting the Newcastle Kingdom free from his tyrannical reign.
Interestingly in March 2018 Sports Direct announced they were looking to set up a regional distribution centre in Kuala Lumpur and further expand in Asian markets. Makes the Ki and Muto signings look interesting. Also doesn't bode well for hopes that MA increased reluctance to spend is an indicator of an imminent club sale.
Nope. Like I say I think he is just piggy backing on the club and hopes it does ok. If its in the PL great, if not he'll get it there. Regardless SD is in great shape so who gives a flying ****. He's not even hiding it. Wants to expand to Asia, buys Asian players. All the clubs do it but they do it for the betterment of the club rather than another business. Or at least its mutually beneficial.
Sure we did the same thing with Holland a few years back. Can anyone confirm whether the Dutch get their Lonsdale clogs from SD these days?
